Festival of Trees:
Nov 15-22
Flourish uses talent to
give back
 Taking
place on November 15 to 22 at the Kitchener City Hall Rotunda,
The (17th Annual) Festival of Trees event will benefit St.
Mary's General Hospital - proceeds will help to purchase a
life-saving heart monitoring device for their Cardiac Care
Centre. Local florist, Flourish, is an in-kind sponsor for the
event, co-ordinating the
ornaments for the sponsored trees, and overseeing their designs.
Pam Salisbury (owner of Flourish) will design the theme display and the décor of the City Hall
Rotunda. She will also donate arrangements for event door prizes
and the silent auction, while the trees are for sale as well as
other sponsored items. The
festival kicks off with a fashion show at the Holiday
Inn on the 15th and ends with a gala on the 22nd.
