Bridal Basics is for brides who want to plan their own wedding
but need to know where to start (or where to go from here). In
1 or 2 hours, one-to-one (or one-to-two, if groom is present)
with Wedding Ring staff, you can expect to learn:
- where to start
- what to expect
- what to spend
- who to hire and why
- how to budget
- how to organize your time
You will also be able to see
- exhibits of work from The Ring's vendors (i.e. cakes,
photos, decorations, etc)
- example of The Ring's online store items (from ring
pillows to bubbles)
You will take home:
- the feeling of knowing exactly what to do, when, and how
- goodie bag of checklists, tips, calendars to keep you on
track
- referrals to wedding service providers that fit into
your taste and budgets
Bridal Basics Sessions are by appointment only, held at The
Ring's downtown location, and are already booking two weeks
ahead in most cases. A fee of $45 includes
coffee/refreshments, munchies, your goodie bag, and one or two
hours of wedding chat!

New Hot Spot for 2004 Outdoor Ceremonies |

Bingemans' new expansive ceremony spot, 'The
Pavilion', is amidst woods, flowers and shrubs - and
it's only a hop, skip and a jump from the Embassy Room,
the Ballroom and the Berkeley Room on the Bingemans'
property. The spot boasts an open, grassy area headed up
by a wooden arch to frame the bride's grand entrance,
and an 'open wood gazebo' platform for the wedding
party. For evening ceremonies, there are twinkle lights
to give the ceremony that last touch of elegance.
