Are you on track? 9 months & earlier, 6 to 9 months before, 4 to 6 months before... take a look!

eat, drink & be merry!:

catering & more...

Kitchener has many, many professional event catering companies to choose from, but there are some things you need to know before jumping to the conclusion that you need one or before hiring one that isn't right for you. What is a caterer? When or why would I use a caterer? What can help me decide which caterer to choose?... and much more!

Posted by Janie-lee & Jesse on May 15.04: 'Well.. we just got engaged on March 27th.. woohoo! But now that I am beginning to plan and get prices, I am feeling overwhelmed. Me and my fiancé are both students in College, so we have to wait until 2006 to get married so that we can save some money. There are so many things to remember! But this site has been really helpful. I like reading the vendor reviews because I've heard some horror stories from other couples who are married and it makes it a little less stressful knowing that you can count on the vendor to do a good job. Congratulations to all the other couples getting married.. God bless you all'... read more

advice chat: from the mouths of k-w brides

Posted by brow9930 on June 19.04: 'I am looking for potential locations to go for wedding photos. Our wedding will be in Kitchener, and the reception in Cambridge so we're hoping to find a park somewhere in between the two locations. I know of Victoria Park in Kitchener, but am really unfamiliar with what places may be nice in Cambridge or if there are any other good locations we should consider in Kitchener. Any suggestions anyone has of places that are good for photographs would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!' Want the answer? read more

Posted by Cilairus on June 18.04: 'My fiancé and I are deciding on a officiant and the ceremony. My fiancé was born an Anglican but is now an Athiest. On the other hand I was raised as a Catholic but now I'm a Pagan. What are the choices for a non-denominational ceremony? What are the choices for an officiant?' Want the answer? read more

bachelor party debate - have times really changed?

Everyone's voting! Have you said your piece? What do you think about the traditional Bachelor party? Harmless fun for the boys? Old-fashioned and disrespectful? Here's what k-w brides are saying about it:

I think it's okay and fun if ...

11% - The boys go to a strip bar and girls go to a male review

22% - The boys go to a strip bar and the girls have a party to buy toys and show them just what we can do too ... (on the honeymoon)

33% - The boys play it safe and so do the girls

11% - We are going to have a stag & doe together for our party!

22% - It's time the boys played it safe and the girls had some real fun instead

OR - I don't know... I'm going to post to tell it like it is...

vote now & have your voice heard | join the heated debate!

tell the world who you are!

we know you want to! post your k-w (& area) engagement announcement, wedding date and/or your picture. like all things should be, it's free! add your announcement
