Pamela Wideman uses a contemporary, fun
and personal approach to weddings
Pamela Wideman's
photos are fun, sweet and contemporary. Her photography is great not
only because she's experienced and educated in her craft, but
because she loves what she does. For Pamela, wedding photography
isn't work. She meets couples in her large, beautiful Elmira studio
to chat about all things weddings while allowing the bride and groom to browse
her full portfolio. To this young professional, the
best parts of wedding photography include meeting new people,
progressing her style and technique from wedding to wedding, and
gathering new ideas and new ways to show the best parts of your
wedding day. With a 'buffet-style' approach to pricing and a young,
enthusiastic personality, Pamela Wideman is a great option for any
local bride.
Personally speaking...
Pamela went to
school for photography at Fanshawe College. During and after her
studies, she assisted a major London photographer, while finding and
developing her own style. Pamela then went on to photograph
independently, in both the London & Tri-City area. Pamela has her LLPO (Licentiate Professional
Photographer of Ontario) and to date,
she has brought her style and personality to more than fifty
weddings...

Amarone String Quartet
sets the tone for weddings of distinction in sweet four part harmony
The
Amarone String Quartet is somewhat of a musical legend with local brides and
vendors. If Peter, Ashlinn, Judith, and Mark's polished, rich sound is
familiar to your ears, it's likely because they've been playing to you from
the entrance of the Bingemans Wedding Dreams shows for the last ten years.
They are requested at nearly forty weddings each year, often book more than
twelve months in advance, and know as much as anyone can know about
instrumental music and the beauty their sound adds to your wedding day.
These four musicians are a combination of music teachers, orchestral
musicians, and long-time friends. It's their love for playing at life's
biggest moments that make it easy to fall in love with their sound. Let us
explain...
Personally speaking...
When you hire
The Amarone String Quartet to play at your event, you are hiring Peter
Carter on 1st Violin, Ashlinn O'Marra on 2nd Violin, Judith Davenport on
Viola, and Mark Norris on Cello. Together, this group have been playing
wedding ceremonies and receptions since 1995. Peter has played with the K-W
Symphony Orchestra for the past twenty years. Ashlinn is a teacher with the
local school board throughout the week, focusing her weekends on...

Photography, offers a clean, classic shooting style consisting of a

some of the best unplanned moments of your wedding day. Whether it's
Jennifer's amazingly short turnaround on your proofs and prints, her
flexible approach to shooting and pricing or her easy-to-love
personality, this K-W photographer seems to have what brides want.
Having watched
Jennifer's company start out and then grow to
popularity over the past year, staff at The Ring is excited to finally have the chance
to put into words why it is that we've been so fascinated with Depiction
Photography. Let us explain...
Accidentally in love... with photography
Jennifer Nahwegahbow
seems to have fallen in love with photography, almost by accident.
Admittedly a lifelong photography buff, this young professional had
never considered photography to be a career path because it had
never occurred to her to look at it as work. Until she found the
courage to take the leap, Jennifer had planned on a career in
counseling which she has her university degree in. She realized...

Post subject: What to do with a baby
for the wedding
"Okay so we are getting
married next spring. I am still in planning stages but it is coming
along great. The only thing is I have a 5 month old daughter who
will 1 shortly after we get married. It's not she's the problem
because she was heaven sent to us. What do i do with her for the
ceremony & reception. My parents aren't from this area they are
flying in the day before. Besides I am sure they don't want to
babysit during their daughter's wedding. I need some good advice
because I really want our daughter to be there not with some
babysitter. I have found some ceremonies that the children..."

"Ok...so
I guess the count down begins...I feel like I still have one million
things to do. I just started back at work again last week after a
year of maternity leave, we just moved into our house last week and
now there is only one month left!!!??? I feel like my head is
spinning! We still don't have our internet hooked up at home so I
feel kind of lost as I don't get to check the site here at work
much.
Here is what we have left to do.
-Put together the church programs
-buy ring bearer and flower girl gifts
-finalize all our plans w/ most vendors
-do seating chart after i call people to see if they are coming or
not (rsvp's are still coming in!)
and its funny because I can't even remember what else...but i know
there is a ton of stuff to do!..."

What a Day!
I got up and did my nails and eyebrows. Went shopping with one of my
bridesmaids for some last minute stuff. Went back to my house and
visited with my grandparents and my godmother and I tied up the
programs.
The Reception Hall called to confirm for the wedding dinner. While

"Well...I'm pretty proud of my FH for going the lengths we
went to find stones and design a ring - so I figured I
should post the story. We've been together 7 years now (we
were highschool sweethearts) and we had been talking about
marriage for almost a year. I figured that we were ready to
move to the next 'stage' of our relationship and to be
honest, was thinking it may never happen. For my birthday,
he had took me to a quiet cabin retreat in the Squamish
Valley in B.C. It was perfect. The next day, we went for a
drive along logging roads, and he pulled over at a beautiful
spot where we were surrounded by a panoramic view of
gorgeous mountains! Here is where he presented me with my
'gift'...a gorgeous diamond and sapphire ring and a
beautiful poem where he asked me to marry him! The sapphire
stone was handpicked (over the internet) directly from the
mine in Australia from Aussie Sapphires in the Reddestone
Creek area of New South Wales. The mine is both an ethical
source of stones as well as an environmentally sound
operation. These points were of course very important to me,
which is in contrast with most sources of gemstones around
the world. The Diamonds where also from Australia, at the
Argle Mines in the west. Once he got the stones, he designed
the ring himself and..."

If Men Were In Charge of Planning Weddings...
There would be less "Oh Promise Me" and "Endless Love", and
more "Louie, Louie" and "Mony Mony".
There would be a 'Rehearsal Dinner Kegger Party'.
Bridesmaids would wear matching blue jean cut-offs and
halter tops. They would have NO tan lines and more skin
showing than not.
Tuxes would have team logos on the back and the Nike shoes
would have matching team colors.
June Weddings would be scheduled around basketball
play-offs.
Vows would mention cooking and sex specifically but omit
that "forsaking all others" part.
The couple would leave the ceremony in a souped up '73
Charger or some other Mopar with racing tires and flame
designs on the side of the car. Better yet, a Harley!
Idiots that tried to dance with the Bride (unless they were
really old) would get punched in the head.
Big slobbery dogs would be eligible for the role of Best
Man.
There would be 'Tailgate Receptions'.
Outdoor weddings would be held during sporting events at
half-time or between innings.
Ceremonies would be short and Honeymoons would be long.
Ceremonies and Honeymoons would be inexpensive compared to
the cost of the Bachelor Party. Those strippers and liquor
sure do add up.
Men wouldn't ask...."Well, what do you think, Dear, The
Burgundy or the Wine colored napkins?" They'd just grab
extras from their local pub or tavern.
Favours would be matchbooks and cigars. Better yet, free
drink passes at the local lounge.
The bride's dress would show cleavage, her navel, and be form
fitted to her butt.
Instead of a sit down dinner or a buffet, there would be a
hog roast or buckets of chicken, pizza and plenty of
barbeque.
No one would bother with that 'Veil Routine'. But they would
insist the garter be as high up on her leg as it would go.
The bridal bouquet could be recycled from a previous funeral
or something. |
