TheWeddingRing.ca sat down with Chrissie Boon, cake designer and owner of
Too Nice to Slice for the inside scoop (or slice) on what's hot in wedding
cakes right now.
Whether it's
your sense of humour or your Christmas theme, Chrissie Boon says there can
be a lot more to your cake then ribbon and roses. "Even the most elegant of
weddings can have a cake as its funky outlet or the most simplistic of
decorations have a cake for its show stopping centrepiece." When working
with an expert cake artist, your cake design is only limited by your
imagination. Chrissie says that every couple that comes into Too Nice to
Slice is unique. She says that their cake is often one of the best (and
tastiest!) ways to reflect that uniqueness. "Although every cake we do has
its own special charm and story there are a few trends we are seeing more
and more often."
