Bingemans Wedding Dreams is area's biggest wedding show... more room, more brides, more variety

Reviewing Doris Hauck, Wedding & Events Coordinator, Bingemans

Without a doubt, the two Wedding Dreams shows that run every year are the biggest in all of Cambridge, Kitchener or Waterloo. Wedding Dreams Shows are put on by Bingemans, and in traditional 'grand style', providing more space, more vendors, more brides, and even more gowns to strut down the fashion runway than any other show in the area. Next to Toronto's gigantic bridal shows, there's nothing like it. That's why The Ring has sat down with Doris to talk about how her show has had such an impact on the area's bridal community, and most of all, why a bride would want to attend it!

Just for the brides...

Bingemans focuses completely on giving brides as much as they could possibly ever need, all in one location. Now that's a concept The Ring can relate to! "It's all about the brides," says Doris Hauck, the Coordinator of this massive show. Bingemans has incorporated anything and everything to do with weddings in their shows, and they're proud of it. It's no wonder their attendance of brides ranges from 800 to 2300. With over a hundred vendors in the show, they still have a waiting list.

It's all about

options, girls!

The reason a bride would want to go to a Wedding Dreams show, is because it allows them to tackle every detail of their wedding, all in one place. From hiring photographers to choosing the latest in wedding gowns, any bride can find out more about what she's looking for. The best part is that there will likely be at least a half dozen products or services at the Wedding Dreams show that brides didn't even know existed! It's all about options, girls!

Two 2-day shows each year, in January and October.

Fashion shows displaying dozens of gown lines by nearly all of the area's gown shops.

Entertainers - from live musicians to string quartets, as well as music by local DJs.

A grand prize draw at every show.

Coverage from radio, newspaper, The Wedding Ring, and television.

Random draws throughout the show at many vendor booths.

Snack booths that serve coffee, sandwiches, salads, chili, soups, and other munchies

Goodies at the door - The Wedding Portfolio Book.

The use of Marshall Hall AND The Ballroom in January's show - a total of 33,000 square feet of wedding stuff!

The use of all of Marshall Hall (18,000 square feet) in October's show.

Vendors ranging from decorators to disc jockeys.

As always, The Wedding Ring will be at both Wedding Dreams shows coming up in 2009 - with bells on, we might add! If you're a bride on a mission to plan a wedding, we'll surely be seeing you there too!
