vendor reviews: ceremony locations

Bingemans' Pavilion is 2004/2005's new hot spot for outdoor ceremonies

Reviewing: Doris Hauck, Wedding & Events Coordinator, Bingemans

Once Bingemans decides to do something new, it's usually hard to keep it a secret very long. Doris Hauck was already taking bookings for Bingemans brand new ceremony spot, well before it officially launched this June. ‘The Pavilion’ is Bingemans answer to K-W brides’ universal plea for a great outdoor ceremony location.

In true Bingemans style

The management, advertising, and events teams at Bingemans decided that if they were going to take on this new venture, it would have to cater to ALL of the aspects that make an outdoor wedding ceremony great. To accomplish this, The Pavilion was designed and constructed in a beautiful, secluded but spacey outdoor area, with packages that include just about anything you could ever dream up to need for an outdoor ceremony.

With hundreds of acres to their name, Bingemans' not-so-little ceremony spot is amidst woods, flowers and shrubs - and it's only a hop, skip and a jump from the Embassy Room, the Ballroom, Marshall Hall, and the Berkley Room on the Bingemans' property. The spot boasts an open, grassy area headed up by a wooden arch to frame the bride’s grand entrance, and an ‘open wood gazebo’ platform for the wedding party. For evening ceremonies, there are twinkle lights to give the ceremony that last touch of elegance.

Since The Pavilion is, after all, a Bingemans service, it can also be used for an after-ceremony cocktail hour, and is only about twenty steps away from a beautiful little nook of trees and stone that’s great for photos.

The Pavilion is not exclusive to brides who host their reception at any number of the Bingemans reception halls, but is available also to all brides in the area. With each package, couples attain the coordination services of Doris Hauck, and the assurance that Bingemans will take care of every detail of their wedding ceremony, to the letter.

idea: Why not soak up the sun for more than the twenty to thirty minutes that a ceremony entails? Avoid the receiving line by allowing guests to 'mingle' via an elegant outdoor cocktail hour. By working a bit of catering into your Pavilion package, you'll be extending your time outdoors while treating everyone to of wine and hors d’oeuvres, served by uniformed Bingemans staff. Bingemans entire concept revolves around serving you in grand style ... Why not take advantage of it?
